The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our growing team and help us scale the next generation of MaintainX products. You’ll lead a talented group of engineers, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure we ship products that customers love and rely on daily.

What You’ll Do
- Manage a team of 5–6 product engineers, driving delivery, quality, and innovation.
- Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering Leaders to scope, plan, and deliver projects with a high bar for quality and reliability.
- Lead, mentor, and grow your engineers—helping them build new skills, navigate challenges, and advance their careers.
- Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support the team in achieving goals.
- Champion engineering excellence—ensuring strong CI/CD pipelines, code quality, and observability practices.
- Provide visibility into team impact, progress, and risks to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Recruiting and other Engineering Managers to hire, onboard, and scale a world-class engineering organization.
About You
- 4+ years of engineering management experience with proven success leading software teams.
- Strong technical foundation in computer science fundamentals, system design, and modern web technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in technical design, problem-solving, and project management (experience with Jira preferred).
- Passion for hiring, coaching, and developing diverse engineering teams.
- Proficiency in CI/CD, automated testing, and reliability-focused development practices.
- Excellent communication skills—you can distill complex ideas and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
