The role

As VP of Product & Engineering at INFINIT, you will own the full product and technology roadmap, unifying our product vision and engineering execution into a single, high-velocity function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the defining force behind how we build, what we build, and how fast we ship, translating ambitious business goals into world-class AI-native products that serve SMEs across Europe and the Americas.

This is a role for a rare profile: a leader who is equally at home reviewing a system architecture as they are shaping a product strategy. You have built and scaled engineering organisations, made hard calls on technical debt, and established the kind of engineering culture where exceptional people do their best work. At the same time, you have the product instincts and AI fluency to ensure that what we ship is genuinely solving customer problems in innovative ways. You are ready to bring those two worlds together at INFINIT.

What do we want to achieve together?

• Set the product & technology vision. Define and own a compelling, multi-year roadmap that positions INFINIT as the leading AI-powered operating system for SMEs, ensuring full alignment with company strategy and investor expectations.
• Own engineering excellence. Establish and uphold high engineering standards across code quality, system design, testing, and security. Make deliberate decisions about technical debt, architectural evolution, and platform scalability to ensure INFINIT's foundations can support long-term global growth
• Build and lead a world-class team. Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing Product and Engineering organisation, fostering a culture of ownership, speed, and continuous learning.
• Drive AI-native product innovation. Leverage your experience at the frontier of AI to embed intelligent agents, automation, and predictive capabilities throughout the INFINIT platform in ways that create genuine competitive advantage.
• Scale the platform for global growth. Design the technical architecture and product structure needed to support rapid expansion into new geographies and industry verticals without sacrificing reliability or compliance.
• Deliver with velocity and quality. Establish lean, iterative delivery practices that allow the team to ship customer value continuously, balancing speed with the rigour required in a regulated financial environment.
• Own the full product lifecycle. From discovery and design through to launch and iteration —  ensure we are solving real customer problems with elegant, scalable solutions informed by data and deep user empathy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner closely with Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Customer Success leaders to ensure product and engineering decisions are grounded in market realities and customer feedback.
• Report to the board and investors. Represent Product & Engineering at board level, communicating progress, risks, and strategic opportunities with clarity and confidence.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• Engineering leadership at scale. You have led sizable engineering organisations.managing managers, hiring senior engineers and architects, and building the processes and culture that enable high-output, high-quality engineering teams. You know how to attract exceptional technical talent and how to retain it.
• Technical depth and credibility. You have a strong enough engineering background to earn the genuine respect of your technical team — you can engage meaningfully in architecture discussions, review technical trade-offs, and make sound decisions on build vs. buy, platform design, and long-term technical strategy.
• Tech leadership pedigree. You have served as Head of Product, Director of Product, or VP of Product at a recognised Tech business and have a deep appreciation for the commercial and regulatory dynamics of financial services.
• Frontier AI experience. You have spent meaningful time at a leading AI company — whether in a product, strategy, or general management capacity — and you understand how large language models, AI agents, and automation can be applied to real-world product challenges.
• End-to-end ownership. Proven track record of owning both product and engineering (or a closely partnered equivalent) with the technical fluency to earn the respect of senior engineers and architects.
• Scale-up execution. Experience taking a product from early traction to significant scale; comfortable with ambiguity, rapid change, and the resource constraints of a growth-stage company.
• People leadership. A natural builder of teams and culture — able to attract exceptional talent, manage senior individual contributors, and create the psychological safety needed for creative, high-output work.
• Data-driven decision making. Strong instinct for which metrics matter and the ability to build the instrumentation and analytical frameworks needed to drive evidence-based product decisions.
• Exceptional communication. Board-level and investor-facing communication skills; the ability to synthesise complexity into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
• Global mindset. Comfortable operating across multiple markets, time zones, and cultures; experience with multi-geography product launches is a strong plus.
