Job Description:

As the Founding Talent Lead, you will own the entire recruitment function for a high-growth AI startup. You will partner directly with PhD-level founders to source and close world-class engineering and research talent. This is a high-agency role focused on maintaining an elite performance bar while scaling the team through 10x year-on-year growth.

Location: London, UK

What you will do:

• Execute the full recruitment lifecycle, focusing on sourcing and closing niche technical talent in AI research and software engineering.
• Partner with the executive team to define "exceptional" for every role and ensure every hire raises the team's mean performance.
• Build and optimize data-driven recruiting workflows, utilizing cutting-edge AI tools to identify and engage high-potential candidates globally.

The ideal candidate:

• Proven track record of hiring elite technical ICs and researchers within fast-growing technology companies or high-performance engineering cultures.
• Mastery of advanced sourcing techniques including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and creative multi-channel outreach strategies.
• High-agency mindset with the technical literacy required to credibly pitch complex AI products to senior engineers and ML researchers.
