Campus Ambassador, Expert Recruitment

Terac helps teams reach faster research breakthroughs through our marketplace of verified experts. We are building agents to recruit, verify, and match 10,000s experts with 1000s of opportunities from the worlds most innovative organizations.

The Role

At Terac, we are attracting the worlds top experts in every domain. While the sales team owns the customer side of the marketplace, it will be your job to own and grow the expert side of the marketplace. We want to partner with the top students at the top campuses in the US to host technical roundtables, sponsor hackathons, engage in research communities, and become loved by your university.

What You’ll Do

• Expert acquisition: engage your campus through marketing campaigns/events that target the most skilled experts for Terac's tasks. You will be helping your peers gain employment at the worlds leading organizations.
• Event marketing: we host monthly dinners for AI researchers, our top experts, and hackathons for our power users. You will help organize these at your university.
• Credibility is key: Between engaging in Reddit/Discord communities, organizing roundtables, and being active in a dedicated Slack with our top experts it will be your job to drive credibility to the Terac brand and make being a Terac expert a sought after title.
• Team communication: You will meet with our SF marketing team and C-Suite weekly to discuss the latest ideas, our pressing issues, and next steps.

About You

• No-busywork mentality: You are comfortable vibe-coding and adapting to the latest tools to optimize your work. The second you recognize a repeatable workflow, you're in Claude code automating it.
• Bias to action: You will operate with a high-level of agency. This means not every initiative will be discussed or thought out. We're looking for someone comfortable in failure, but can come to us with a list of initiatives where you tried something, measured the impact, and either doubled down or quit - all without permission.
• Data-driven: You make data driven decisions. Like any marketplace, problems can balloon at scale. It's vital we track LTV, CAC, and measure everything to ensure we make informed decisions.

Misc

• While you will work remotely, we will host quarterly all-hands at our office in downtown SF
• Compensation: Monthly stipend + budget to host events. You will also get a commission for all the experts you onboard from your campus.
• Terac culture: Between weekly presentations, company hackathons, and an AI-first mindset, you'll be working with one of the most innovative teams on the planet.
• Growth opportunities: You're joining Terac at one of the earliest stages and will have an opportunity to join the company full-time upon graduation.
