Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Recruiting Counselor to join our Nanny Team in the domestic placement division. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and guiding candidates for in-home positions such as Nannies, Family Assistants, and Newborn Care Specialists. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a strong grasp of domestic staffing, exceptional assessment skills, and a genuine desire to help families and job seekers connect successfully.
What You’ll Do
- Candidate Sourcing: Identify top talent using job boards, company tools, events, and referrals.
- Screening & Interviews: Review applications, conduct screening calls, and hold structured interviews to evaluate skills and household fit.
- Candidate Presentation: Collaborate with Placement Counselors to match talent with family needs and expectations.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of candidate skills, preferences, references, and availability.
- Candidate Coaching: Support candidates through resume prep, interview best practices, and client readiness.
- Follow-Up & Retention: Check in regularly with placed candidates and clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns.
Who You Are
- Recruitment: You have at least 2 years experience sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates in client-facing roles—ideally in staffing, agency, or domestic placement environments.
- Detail-Oriented & Analytical: You excel at evaluating resumes, identifying qualified candidates, and aligning talent with specific client needs.
- Strong Interviewer: You’re confident conducting structured interviews and skilled at assessing candidate fit across skills, personality, and environment.
- Clear Communicator: You can effectively communicate with candidates and internal teams through both written and verbal channels.
- Proactive Sourcer: You know how to leverage multiple sourcing methods—from job boards to referrals—to find the right people quickly.
- Candidate-Centric: You provide empathetic guidance and constructive feedback throughout the hiring journey.
- Organized & Efficient: You can manage high-volume pipelines and multiple open roles without missing a beat.

Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000
The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. *Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
