Let's start with the role

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Data Analyst to join our fast-growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you’ll focus primarily on trading-related topics, analyzing market trends, regional and global performance, as well as customer and operational data that will help drive continuous improvement and business impact.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will:

• Build strong relationships with the Trading Functions;
• Proactively provide data analytics and insights to the function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with minimal oversight or guidance;
• Interpret KPIs with a clear understanding of performance versus expected targets;
• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, enabling better-informed business decisions;
• Have a solid understanding of the tools used by the Trading function, as well as the data they generate and how that data can be leveraged to extract insights;
• Continuously challenge existing metrics and KPIs and work closely with the rest of Business Intelligence (BI) team to develop new metrics and KPIs that will help drive business growth;
• Work closely with the rest of BI team to ensure alignment, the adoption of best practices in data visualization, and smooth information flow from the hub to the spoke and vice versa;
• Contribute to building a strong data-driven culture across the organization;
• Maintain a solid understanding of sports betting across multiple sports.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field);
• Strong hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting;
• Working experience in the gaming industry is a strong plus;
• Analytical mindset with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload effectively;
• Excellent data storytelling skills with the ability to present complex analyses to non-technical audiences;
• Strategic thinker with a proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders;
• Highly motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing business needs;
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python;
• Expert-level skills in MS Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling);
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar);
• Advanced presentation skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and Google Slides;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
