Job Description:

As the first Head of Talent, you will lead global strategy to hire the top 0.1% of AI researchers and engineers. You will own full-cycle recruitment and people operations, building an elite team from the ground up for a high-growth startup currently making real-world impact in industrial manufacturing.

Location: Austin, USA or London, UK

What you will do:

  • Lead global talent strategy to source specialized technical talent, including AI researchers and Forward Deployed Engineers, using non-obvious channels
  • Own the full-cycle recruitment process, designing high-signal, low-friction interview loops that ensure an exceptional candidate experience
  • Design and manage all people operations, including compensation benchmarking, performance management frameworks, and the global onboarding experience

  • Proven track record of hiring exceptional technical talent at high-growth startups, with a deep understanding of what world-class engineers value
  • A relentless "hunter" mentality with the ability to identify winners from math competitions, open-source contributors, and unconventional talent pools
