The Role
Recruiting is a strategic driver of Peregrine’s next phase of growth. We’re hiring a Technical Recruiting Manager to own end-to-end recruiting for Engineering, Product, and Design during a period of rapid expansion.
We are growing 2.5x year-over-year and are on track to double the organization this year. As we expand internationally and into new industries beyond public safety, we are investing in the talent infrastructure required to scale with discipline and quality.
You will serve as the primary talent partner to our CTO/Founder, along with our VP Engineering and Product leadership, meeting regularly to shape the hiring strategy, workforce planning, and organizational scaling decisions. This is a player-coach role: you will personally own high-impact senior and executive searches while building scalable systems that support doubling the organization.
This role is based in San Francisco and requires in-office collaboration four days per week.
What You’ll Do
- Own Engineering, Product, and Design recruiting across SF, DC, and NYC, along with future offices as we expand domestically and internationally
- Serve as a strategic talent partner to VP Engineering and Product leaders\
- Personally run high-profile senior-level searches
- Build scalable recruiting systems to support rapid headcount growth
- Formalize hiring manager onboarding and enablement as new leaders join
- Scale interviewer training and cross-office calibration
- Develop competitive offers and closing strategies for senior talent
- Coach and develop recruiters, creating clear growth paths across experience levels

What You Bring
- 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience
- 4+ years of recruiting management experience
- Demonstrated success leading high-profile senior or executive searches hands-on
- Track record hiring senior and staff-level engineers, PMs, and/or designers
- Experience serving as a strategic partner to senior engineering and product leadership
- Operational rigor and strong systems thinking
- Experience in high-growth B2B SaaS, infrastructure, or AI environments
Preferred
- Experience scaling recruiting at an early or growth-stage startup (enterprise a plus)
- Built or rebuilt recruiting processes during rapid headcount growth
- Experience managing distributed recruiting teams across geographies
- Demonstrated success promoting recruiters and tailoring coaching across experience levels
Salary Range: $187,031 - $240,469 Annually + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable)
